SC sets aside objection to plea against PTI leaders

 In this petition, Faisal said that the PATI leaders were inciting people against the country's institutions.

Islamabad:The Supreme Court decided the legal objections to the petition filed against the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including party chairman Imran Khan.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah heard the appeal filed by the petitioner Qusin Faisal against the objections of the Registrar's Office. During the hearing in Chambers the petitioner argued that the petition complied with the requirement of Article 184(3) of the Constitution.

The learned judge rejected the legal objections to the application. He said that a week's time is being given after which the new application will be assigned a case number and presented in the open court.

Faisal said in his petition that PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders of his party are inciting the people against the country's institutions. He requested that action be taken and the media be stopped from broadcasting his speeches...
