Wreckage of missing Pak Army helicopter found: Police

  1. The Pakistan Army helicopter went missing at 5:30 pm yesterday.
  2. Ruins at Musa Goth near the shrine of Sasi Panna.
  3. Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali was on board the plane.

Deputy Inspector General Pervez Khan Imrani said on Tuesday that the wreckage of the aviation helicopter of the Pakistan Army, which went missing a day ago, has been found in Musa Goth near the shrine of Sassi Pannu in Balochistan.

The helicopter was going from Quetta to Karachi and went missing at 5.30 pm yesterday, with important persons on board.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the aviation helicopter was on a flood relief operation in Lasbela, Balochistan when it lost contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC).

Corps Commander Quetta Lt Gen Sarfaraz Ali, who was overseeing flood relief operations in the province, was among six people on board.
