Chairman PTI  explains the reason behind the move of dissolving provincial assemblies.

Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has offered negotiations to the federal government to hold general elections in the country on Friday. However, he said that if the government does not opt for talks, it may decide to dissolve the assemblies at a future date, which he did not specify.

In a series of videos posted on the party's official social media account on Friday afternoon, Imran invited the government to discuss holding general elections.

Claiming that Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) and Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi have assured full support for Imran Khan's decision to dissolve the provincial assembly, the PTI chief said that If both assemblies are dissolved, then elections will be held. 66 percent of the country.

He said that whenever I decide to dissolve the assembly, he will stand with me.

Either sit and negotiate when you want general elections or we can dissolve assemblies or do you really want elections in 66% of the country?

He added that if the assemblies are dissolved and elections are held, the Rainbow Alliance of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will also have to go to the polls and that will form the entire government.

The PTI chief lamented that the government has refused to negotiate when it wants to hold elections and seems content to destroy the economy.

He pointed to the poor economic condition of the country as industries, agriculture, and service sectors are all going down while the government has no plan to revive the economy.

Imran said that the economy had accelerated compared to the economic growth of the PTI-led administration under the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Imran said if elected, he would put the economy back on track...

"The present government only intends to disqualify me or file cases against me and PTI workers," he added.

He further said that the government wants to remove him from the board while ending the cases registered against him.

"They are afraid that if the elections are held, they will lose heavily," he said, adding that this is why the federal government is not interested in giving a date for the general elections.
