According to ARY News, Afzal Ahmed, a famous actor of the past Pakistan film, television, and stage, died in a hospital in Lahore. He was suffering from paralysis for many years.

According to the General Hospital administration, Afzal Ahmed suffered a brain hemorrhage and was brought to the hospital yesterday.

On the other hand, according to the family members of the legendary actor, he could not even get a bed in the General Hospital at the last moment.

Afzal Ahmed has been associated with the field of acting for many decades and entertained fans with his spontaneous acting. He played various roles but gained fame from negative roles. The actor was also honored with several awards for his artistic services.

Afzal Ahmed started his film career in 1968 with the film Dhup Aur Sawira. In his career, he acted in 384 films. His super hit movies include "Hashu Khan, Insan Aur Gadha, Pahlawar, Waro, Siddha Rasta, Sasta Khoon Mahaga Pani, Babul Sadke Tere, Sharif Badsheem, Savish Jat, Dehleez, Blandi" among others.

The legendary actor played unique and timeless roles in dozens of popular TV dramas. In the stage world, his play "Meli Chadar" was so well received that it was staged continuously for many years.

The burial of the deceased will be done after the arrival of the daughters and sisters from abroad.
